With these goals in mind, the team created a transformation backlog using the Tuckman Model. This backlog guided the organization&#8217;s Agile transformation through stages of maturity.<\/p>\n<p>Next, the team adopted a complex adaptive systems perspective, viewing teams as self-organizing agents within a broader system. This approach emphasized:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Breaking down functional silos into cross-functional teams focused on value production.<\/li>\n<li>Realigning people and processes around purpose.<\/li>\n<li>Empowering teams with Scrum practices at the team level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Implementation Steps<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Initially, functional silos were dismantled, and <strong>cross-functional teams were created where applicable<\/strong>. Listening closely to what this organization needed, Pasha and his team also kept specialized teams in place where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Next, teams were structured to <strong>adopt consistent Scrum practices. <\/strong>This led to the formation of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrumatscale.com\/scrum-at-scale-guide-online\/#the-scrum-of-scrums\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Scrum of Scrums<\/a> as a reference model, enabling scaling across other units.<\/li>\n<li>Further, they instituted <strong>a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrumatscale.com\/scrum-at-scale-guide-online\/#event-the-scaled-daily-scrum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Scaled Daily Scrum<\/a><\/strong> with its own backlog to enhance cross-team coordination.
